平台方重启复核,还原事实,给传承者一个公正说法;
监管层面完善内容治理细则,为传统文化传播留出安全空间;

April 10 Blocking of accounts: An unpublished biography on why traditional Chinese medicine accounts were subjected to "unjustified punishment"
On April 10, 2026, an ordinary Friday became a "black anniversary" in the circle of traditional Chinese medicine cultural communication. Cao Dongyi, a researcher at the Hebei Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a personal public account operated by Cao Dongyiji, a personal disciple of the national medical master Deng Tietao, was permanently blocked by the platform on the grounds of "non-manual operation" for republishing the re-enactment of Deng Tietaou's biography, and the complaint was dismissed and there was no room for review.
This was not an ordinary breach, but a fierce collision between cultural heritage and platform rules, technical judgments and artificial facts. When a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, who was nearly 70 years old, spent 20 years writing a biography of his teachers, but was convicted by an algorithm. When positions that disseminate the doctrine of national medicine die of originality under the call to "encourage originality," we have to ask why the original purpose of the rules went the other way.
I. The Beginning and End of the Event: From the commemoration of the sage to the overnight shutdown, the whole journey was full of absurdity
The whole story is almost ironic:
Original intent: To commemorate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Deng Tietao, Cao Dongyi will spend years writing and the unpublished Deng Tietaou biography, which will be published in 37 episodes on his personal public account from January 28, 2026, to disseminate the ideas of Chinese medicine without compensation, without marking originality and without commercial profit.
Compliance response: Following advice from others, in order to meet the platform's "original protection" orientation, the account removed the old article, manually re-sent and marked the original, all manually.
Suddenly heavy penalties: The article was reported immediately after it was posted, and the platform determined that it was "not manual," directly imposed a permanent suspension, with no early warning and no ladder penalty.
There is no way to appeal: Cao Dongyi submitted factual statements and created evidence, but the platform only dismissed them with the words "no review passed," without giving any basis for judgment or avenue for review.
More interestingly, this account has long cultivated the popularization of Chinese medicine, and has faced malicious attacks and smears of "black Chinese medicine" for years, without triggering a penalty. However, during an original operation to patch up compliance, he was fatally shot.
The rule paradox: platforms that encourage originality and why they penalize the originals who deserve the most protection
The WeChat Public Platform launched a concentrated crackdown on “non-human automated content creation” in April 2026. The goal was to combat AI-facilitated plagiarism, mass repurposing, and machine-assisted content distribution. This move was intended to purify the content ecosystem. However, this penalty happens to hit the three blind areas of enforcement of the rules:
Algorithmic judgment: The system equates "short-term republishing of old articles" directly to "non-artificial manipulation," ignoring the identity of the creator, the context of the creation, and the facts of artificial manipulation, and algorithms replace factual judgment.
Punishment is one-size-fits-all: Top-level punishment is directly applied to cultural heritage accounts that are not profitable, infringing rights, or badly oriented, and does not distinguish between malicious violations and bona fide operations.
Formalization of complaints: acknowledging only systemic conclusions and not human evidence, making "complaints" obsolete and violating the basic fairness of platform governance.
Cao Dongyi's "The Biography of Deng Tietao" is an oral history of teachers and students, a summary of decades of clinical thought, and every word comes from listening and doing. Such content is labeled "non-artificial" by algorithms, which is essentially a misunderstanding of the original spirit and a gross denial of cultural creation.
III. Cultural Mystery: When the heritage fields were wrongly injured, Chinese medicine practitioners clapped their hands together.
Mr. Deng Tietao was the first Chinese medical master, devoted his life to traditional Chinese medicine clinical and education, and remained committed to the stance of Chinese culture despite hundreds of years of turmoil. Cao Dongyi visited his teacher in 2005 and established a biography of his teacher as the responsibility of his disciples, which is a typical illustration of traditional Chinese medicine's "respecting the teacher and revering the teaching and passing the torch on."
The disappearance of this account hurts more than one account:
Academic loss: Hundreds of thousands of words of Deng Tietao's academic thoughts, testimonial experience, and life trajectory are difficult to completely access with the account blocked, and future learners lose their firsthand information.
Public opinion reverses: accounts that have long discredited Chinese medicine and spread rumors are safe and sound, accounts that genuinely popularize science and write biographies are eliminated, creating a "bad coin ejects good coin."
Cultural chill effect: More practitioners and cultural communicators of traditional Chinese medicine will be anxious and will no longer dare to share in-depth content without pay, ultimately impairing the public's right to obtain authoritative knowledge of traditional medicine.
From the "10,000 people signed to cancel TCM" 20 years ago to the "technical misjudgment" that has permanently disappeared from the official inheritance account today, the underlying logic is highly similar: those who defend TCM have repeatedly been frustrated, and voices that denigrate TCM have been unimpeded.
IV. Rational Questions: Can platform governance and cultural protection go hand in hand?
We do not object to platforms taking action against the chaos caused by AI and safeguarding the integrity of original works. However, good laws require effective governance, and rules need to be balanced.
Can we set up whitelists and manual review channels for accounts such as academic inheritance and cultural journalism to avoid algorithmic errors?
Can permanent blocking be limited to malicious marketing, rumor-mongering, infringement, and repeatedly taught accounts, so as to give well-intentioned operators room to correct mistakes?
In the face of outstanding traditional cultures such as traditional Chinese medicine that are supported by the state, should platforms assume more responsibility for prudent review and positive protection?
Technology is a tool, not an end; The rules are the bottom line, not the shackles. When algorithms can easily deny the half-hearted work of an old Chinese medicine practitioner, and when a compliance operation is exchanged for "unjustified punishment," it is not just a public account that is injured, but the confidence of the entire cultural heritage.
V. Written at the Last: History will remember who guards the fire.
Mr. Cao Dongyi called the incident "the black Chinese medicine incident of April 10" not an emotional outburst, but a sobering summary of a phenomenon: at a time when cultural confidence is repeatedly emphasized, too many forces are still dismantling Chinese medicine and hindering its inheritance. People who really do things are often the most vulnerable to injury.
We call for:
The platform would restart the review to restore the facts and give the successor a fair account;
The regulatory level should improve the rules governing content so as to leave a safe space for the dissemination of traditional culture.
All sectors of society face the chaos of organized smears of "black Chinese medicine" and use laws and rules to safeguard the right path.
Grass is passionate, and there is a source of medicine. A "biography of Deng Tietao" can be hidden, but Deng Tietaou's spirit of "dedicated medical practitioner" will not disappear. An account can be banned, but the Chinese medicine practitioners will not stop carrying on the national heritage.
Time will prove that true originality is never an algorithmic label; True inheritance is never afraid of the storms.
